Category B and C are handled separately

Applied Learning and Other Languages do not follow the same Category A public written-paper model, so AceDSE explains them as pathways rather than fabricating identical paper practice.

Category B Applied Learning

ApL subjects are practical, provider-delivered courses assessed through six to ten tasks over two years. They do not have the same public written-paper pattern as Category A subjects.

Category C Other Languages

From 2025 HKDSE, candidates take the stipulated language examinations administered in Hong Kong by official organisations for French, German, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Urdu, and Hindi from 2028.
